2007 New Jersey Bocce Invitational
Sunday, June 3,2007

Dear Bocce Supporter:

Thank you for all your help on Sunday, June 3rd. We are deeply grateful for all your efforts in making this event memorable. Each soldier and Marine will know of this initiative.

To say that The 1st Annual Bocce Invitational benefiting Operation Shoebox New Jersey was successful is an understatement. With your participation and support we were able to raise approximately $10,000 to continue the flow of care packages to our troops.

Additionally, and notably evident is the fact that for the first time we were able to bring many professional and recreational bocce players to Colonial Park in Franklin Township, New Jersey. While they are mutually exclusive, they are a first. There are many volunteers to thank for bringing this event to fruition and your financial and symbolic support is what made it so special. We hope to continue this effort by bringing Italian-American’s of all associations together to compete for this honorable cause. Please take a moment to view over 200 photographs of this exceptional day at www.opshoeboxnj.org

The Bocce Invitational Committee and Operation Shoebox New Jersey staff stand ready to continue our efforts to maintain this cultural fund-raising venue for many years to come. We invite you to call on the corporate community as well as family and friends to make this an annual philanthropic celebration to unite Italian-Americans and non-profit causes. We would also like to thank The Somerset County Park Commission for the construction of the bocce courts and their support throughout the day.

Until the 2nd Annual Bocce Invitational benefiting Operation Shoebox New Jersey, we remain Respectfully yours,
